During the hot summer months, the battle against algae and other growths begin. The Air-Max aerating fountain will put back the much needed oxygen into your pond or lake. During the hot summer months, warm surface water traps the denser, colder water on the bottom of the pond. This is know as stratification. Pollutants such as leaves, clippings and fertilizer sink to the bottom and decay, stripping the water of dissolved oxygen. Anaerobic bacteria can cause poisonous gases such as hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, and methane to be released. As these gases rise through the water the remaining oxygen is absorbed causing unpleasant odors, rapid algae growth and a very unhealthy environment for fish. Your Air-Max aerating fountain will break down the stratification, by circulating the colder deeper water. The Air-Max operates in as little as 4' of water. All units include pump / motor assembly, fiberglass float body, deep water draw / circulation , anchor rope and power cable ready to attach to your GFCI power source.

The light kit for the air-max, consists of two (2) 120 Volt lights which are 120 watts each for a total of 240 watts of lighting. The lights are wired together so you only need one power cord for the light kit. The kit comes with all of the mounting hardware and power cable. Standard cable lengths are 50ft, 75ft, 100ft and 150ft, but custom cable length may be special ordered with lengths up to 250 feet.
